£75 Registration Fee (non returnable) must accompany the Application Form.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Fee assistance is available to suitable candidates on a means tested basis; further information may be obtained from the Treasurer, Mr Jeremy Chittleburgh, Chiene + Tait, 61 Dublin Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6NL,

2. Pre-payment of fees: Please note that there is a reduction on the payment of fees for the whole year. You should contact the Treasurer if you need any further information on this.

3. The School operates a Direct Debit scheme for paying fees monthly. There is no additional charge for this service and details can be obtained from the Treasurer.

4. A full term's notice must be given in writing to the Head if it is intended to withdraw a child, or a full term's fees paid in lieu of notice.

5. A full term's notice must be given in writing to the Head if it is intended to change from boarding to day or a full term's boarding fee paid in lieu of notice.

6. Late payment of fees is subject to an interest payment at a rate of 1.5% per month or such other rate as may be determined from the start of term until the date the outstanding amount has been cleared.

7. Termly fees are payable by the first day of each term.

8. Where three or more sisters are pupils at the same time, the third and subsequent sisters will receive a discount of one third of tuition fees. A discount scheme is also available with brothers at Merchiston. You should contact the Treasurer if you need any further information on this.

Please note that the third child discount does not apply for Nursery.

Parents should also note that in addition to some fee assistance (see relevant information on fee assistance) there are various Educational Trust Funds which can help in cases of need.
