P2 Chinese Assembly

In common with many of the other years within the school, Primary 2 held a special assembly to celebrate the Chinese New Year last week.

This is the "Year of the Rabbit", a year which is very much welcomed and needed after the ferocious "Year of the Tiger".  It is said that we should go off to some quiet spot to lick our wounds and get some rest after all the battles of the previous year, and that in reflection people will acknowledge that persuasion is better than force. It is hoped that it will be a congenial year in which diplomacy, international relations and peace will be given priority once more.

Primary 2 cleverly created some special "rabbit ears" and many of the girls in the photograph gallery below can be seen sporting them.

Happy New Year of the Rabbit!
